          I'm waiting for it. As i read, it's a E7 combined with N8, and a 1G/1.2G Processor

WoW!! This means that Nokia aims to drive not only toward W7 but also on MeeGo?
It sounds good... that's it? :-)

If it was anything like the "Nokia U concept phone":http://conversations.nokia.com/2010/09/07/design-by-community-the-finished-concept/ I'd be in there in an instant.

An NFC chip would also be awesome.

The concern I have is that the Harmattan "MeeGo" is quite different to the true MeeGo and there's the risk this new dev phone is going to be orphaned just like the n900.

Nokia will ship at least one smartphone with MeeGo this year - Nokia N950. There are some pictures of the devices published to different websites:

So the mystery is officially revealed. "Nokia N9":http://swipe.nokia.com/ is with MeeGo and will be in stores soon and Nokia N950 will be shipped in limited edition only for developers.

I am really happy to see Nokia MeeGo smartphone on the market after all :)

bq. The concern I have is that the Harmattan “MeeGo” is quite different to the true MeeGo

                    can anyone elaborate on this?
                    What are the differences?
                    Are there other projects involved?
is Harmattan a spin off of MeeGo?
Any links to the projects' source codes?

Will this in any way mean that Nokia will release a pure MeeGo device in future. Although the chances seems very thin to me. But can it be pushed as a firmware update.

                            $500 round (maybe)

                            人生有多少年华
                            人生有多少缅怀

                            沉沦在烦琐的人生

I think Nokia has not announced any official plans to do it so far. Would be nice if they provide at least a firmware update with native MeeGo.
