    Hello,
I just installed PySide on Ubuntu from the official ppa and have made sure the installation is working. However I would really like to develop my applications and create them as projects from within QT Creator / QT Designer. Right now I have to use a normal text editor.
I have installed the latest QTSDK from qt.nokia.com

You should write “Qt”, not “QT” (QuickTime).

I do not see how that helps me, or why someone would put QT for quicktime on a forum about the Qt framework, but ok.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Isn't "File > New Project" an option?

"File > New Project" has no project option for python/pyside. The only way I can create a QT program in python is to use a text editor to create a python script and import pyside classes. I can't use Qt creator/Qt designer.

QtCreator knows only qml & c++. The only thing you can use from sdk for pyside is designer.

Really? That's such a shame. So wait how would I go about using designer with pyside.
I'm a newb to programming, just learning.

Never mind, figured it out. This can be marked as solved.

You have to mark it yourself (by editing the first post).
