Error when i am showing a dialog.

I think this is bug ( "link":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-16558 ). My app has a timer running but when i show a dialog an error-warning like this is been shown: Application asked to unregister timer 0x17000006 which is not registered in this thread. Fix application.

Can i do something or at Qt 4.8 i won't have this error?
And if yes from where can i download 4.8 for Ubuntu?

Qt 4.8 has not been released yet, there is only a technology preview (and the sources are available, of course, so you can build it yourself if you need). As can be read in the bugreport you link, the warning has been disabled in 4.7.3, and a fix will indeed be in 4.8.
