Event in scrollbar

Hello,

In my application I want to use a verical scrollbar.Every time I change its value I want to run a function, and pass the scrollbar's value as a parameter inside this function.How could this be done? I have read several thinks, but where very general. Could someone give me a simple speciphic example?

If you create the scrollbar as a widget, use signal / slot connections. This means, make yout function a slot with an int param,eter and connect it to valueChanged of the scrollbar
