Qt SDI app?

Is there any tutorial or model how to create a Single Document Interface, like SDI in MFC app?
I want to put in the view just a simple text file, and I did not find any tutorial about this ...When I said SDI app, I meant including menu bar, status bar, etc.

A QMainWindow offers menu bar, status bar etc. and you could put a QPlainTextEdit as its central widget to view/edit a text file.
