Static compilation licensing issues?

Hi,

Looks like its very difficult for me to understand the constraints of licensing. :( I would like to compile my project statically and produce a single executable . Now, i would like to know if i can keep the project as closed source ? or need to make the source available to all ? Is there any issue with LGPL licensing if i do static compilation ?
