Qt Design Studio crashes constantly with qml

My installation seems normal, no errors. Every time I switch from code mode to design, the application closes after a while. Even if the window has no components. Usually when I drag something onto the screen it simply closes. Is it not a bad optimization? My PC isn't that bad so I can run Adobe applications like After Effects without any problems, I can even run Mac applications inside a virtual machine.
