Symbian Homescreen widgets in QML

I haven't seen this to be possible to do yet. Are there plans for making it possible to write homescreen widgets in qml?

I would also be interested in this. I know you can create .wgt files with the webruntime stuff, but doing it straight qml would be ideal for me as well.
