    Hi,

I wonder if there are plans to support distributing/making Qt Application plugins (https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/plugins-howto.html#the-low-level-api-extending-qt-applications) as WebAssembly modules/components?

For Qt Applications written in C++ one will typically have the choice of writing a plugin in Python (PyQT) for maximum portability at the cost of performance or writing the plugin in C++ for maximum performance at the cost of portability.

If Qt would support writing the plugin in C++ and compiled and distributed as a WebAssembly wasm module, it would provide us with both portability and performance.

Is this something you have considered/are considering?

I am aware that many are waiting for the component model to be able to write proper WebAssembly component interfaces/worlds, please comment on this as well.
