    Hey guys,

Does anyone have experience running Squish for Qt test from deskptop on Android Tablet? Is it possible to launch the AUT on tablet from desktop? or do I need to install Squish for Android on the tablet?

    Thanks in advance!

@SquishHammer , the process is outlined in the documentation: https://doc.qt.io/squish/installing-squish-for-qt-for-android-testing.html . Does that answer your question?

@kkoehne This didnt' really solve my problem. I performed all the steps described in the tutorial, but still Squish failed to launch or attach to application that is running on the Android tablet.

Also, in the sever settings > manage android AUTS > New Android AUT page, I don't see the tablet I connnected to via USB, when I want to select application devices.

Do you know how can I solve this?

@kkoehne I aslo got this warning, when I tried building the application on the table, even though the Squish hook is already written in my project build configuration.

@SquishHammer I suggest getting in contact with Qt Support about this one.

@SquishHammer What is the Android version of tablet? Is Java 1.8 = 8 is good enough for the Android version of your tablet. Did you turn on the debug mode of Android tablet?
