Tabs and notifecation

Hi All,
I want to make the tabs at the bottom of the screen using the QMl.On the tab there can be any number of items.
i also wants notification of each tab. can you suggest me how i can make.
Is there any slandered way to make tabs. -

thanks paulo this is really nice example.I can also make make tabs using the Grid but i do not know whether this approach is correct or not.

Hi All,
i found the link use full making the tabs. but if there are too many tabs means few tabs can be visible at a time and some will be hidden. when user will be left or right then remaining will be visible. then
this approach is not useful.
can any body suggest me what approach i should follow. -
