Importing a .dll file
-
Hi,
I am new to this forum...i wanted to know how to import a .dll file in Qt.....
Can anyone please help me......Edit (Andre): removed the shouting in the subject line. Please don't use all caps.

Look into "QLibrary":http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/qlibrary.html.
-
Take a look at the LIBS variable in the qmake manual, that is available in the documentation that was installed with your Qt installation.
-
For clarification: Use QLibrary for runtime loading, use the LIBS variable in your pro file for compile time linking.
-
You're absolutely right of course, Franzk. Subhash, could you clarify if you want to load the library at runtime, or if you want to link to it at compile time?
-
Thanks for the help.....
I need to load a dll file at compile time and can i get information on LIBS variable...do I need to include Qlibrary to call LIBS variable or can it be accessed directly... -
You do not need QLibrary if you link at compile time (that is using the LIBS variable in your .pro file).
