    Why there are "replacement kits "?
    When I use SUBDIRS should I use SAME kit for all projects?
    Is "select all kits" in SUBDIRS wise?

    Sometime I get "configuration", not really sure when, but
    is there a proper way to enter "configuration" manually?

      You previously set up a project with a Kit. Then, you removed that Kit. Therefore, since the configured Kit is gone, Qt Creator automatically sets up a replacement kit to replace the missing kit.

      Yes.

      Is "select all kits" in SUBDIRS wise?

      No.

      Normally, Configuration is done when you create or load a project for the first time.

        @JKSH Thanks.
        Is there a easy way to "re-kit " A project?
        But in case of mine test projects it is probably wiser to start over and select common and only one kit for each sub-projecct..

          @JKSH sure, except I didn't remove or delete the kit in any way. QT just decided it was gone after I restarted m computer
