Qt Widgets Error

Hello Qt,
I am glad to use your framework as it gives amazing ui development facilities.
But since I shifted from Windows to Ubuntu 23.04 I have been facing a problem.
When I try to add widgets to the centralwidget mainwindow is it just blocked. When I try to drag the widgets from the widgets group to the mainwindow's centralwidget, it shows a 🚫 sign near the bottom of the pointer.Please suggest me how can I solve this or how should I install it.
Please help I have a project to complete

Show what you've done so far and how your layout (your UI) looks like.
Probably nothing wrong and you just try to perform an impossible action -

So you dont want to provide any more information?
e.g.- what layout, if any?
- move which widgets from where to where?
- how does the destination look like? empty widget or any other stuff in it?
You dont have to apologize, but YOU have an issue with your code, not us :)
If you dont show what you've done, one can only guess.If it is, what I think it is, then you are missing a layout somewhere or make any unallowed "moves".
