You need Robot Herder rank to request a group. Note that not all requests will automatically be accepted. -

You should have a bit of patience. Alexandra is in the US for the San Fransisco edition of the Developer Days. She normally handles such requests. Give it another week at least (she'll need some time to catch her breath and catch up with other requests and tasks).
