What are my chances that QT company will fix this annoying issue?
When I push "run" it compiles...
when I push run again , without making any charges , it compiles again...
    ... and again...
some output actually sates "...nothing to do ..." - who cares about that ?

I did post a bug long time ago ( ,,,dirty files.....) and got nowhere .
I am not going to waste MY time if they do not care.

@AnneRanch Do not have this issue with QtCreator 6.0.2. No build without change before running. This is on Ubuntu 22.04.

@JoeCFD No need to discuss this - it's the third (at least) post about this from her - she's messing around with the system time so make (or whatever is used) thinks the targets are outdated.

Qt Online Installer direct download: https://download.qt.io/official_releases/online_installers/

          @Christian-Ehrlicher Then,
          type
          date
to check if the machine time is correct.
If not, synchronizing the system time on the machine.

@Christian-Ehrlicher You are absolutely correct - it takes few seconds between "Runs" and that definitely screws up the SYSTEM synchronization and catches off guard ( sleeping ?)
the usual message " ...your source file is outdated..." .
I have not seen that message lately , I suspect such error notification may have be intentionally deleted
            ...it creates traffic ....

            PS
The (standard ? ) concept of "dirty file " - based on time of file creation has been around since DOS 1.0
it SHOULD work in ANY QT - not just 6.02
