Mapbox GL for Qt 6.5

I'm working on to convert my Qt 5.15 project into Qt 6.5.
The project uses Mapbox GL plugin— it looks like the plugin does not support Qt 6.5 as of now, but is there any plan on supporting it in the future, or has it been discontinued?

Also, I've been trying to use Mapbox plugin on Qt 6.5, hoping that this can be the alternative for Mapbox GL plugin, however the plugin also doesn't seem to be installed on my Qt 6.5 build. Does Mapbox plugin not support Qt 6.5, or do I need to take some extra steps in order to use it?

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS
QT version: 6.5.0
