QtQuick.Controls with or without version number

Hi,

I work with MAC os Ventura . QT 6.4.2

I am looking for an explanation
I have a QML file in which I import the QtQuick.Controls module

If I specify a number, example:
import QtQuick.Controls. 2.15 the type DayOfWeekRow is not recognized.

On the other hand with
import QtQuick.Controls

It works.

Why ?

2.15 is likely Qt 5.15 and the item may have definition of DayOfWeekRow.
Qt 6 drops version numbers and DayOfWeekRow is likely not defined anymore.
Check the doc of the item in Qt5 and Qt6.
