The Qt module xmlpatterns (which included QXmlSchema and QXmlValidator, among others) was removed from Qt 6, thus preventing parts of our application from working.

    Why was module xmlpatterns removed?

Is there any hope to see that module resurrected in Qt 6?

Because noone really used it and it was a maintainance hell / had seriours design flaws. Since nobody volunteered to take ownership, it was removed.

I doubt this is what @Christian-Ehrlicher actually said...

Feel free to take over the maintainance for this module...

And if you're a paying customer you can ask TQtC if they will port it for you.
