I am installing Qt6 using the online installer on an Ubuntu system hosted by virtual box.

Unfortunately, the system always get stuck at 98% telling me software not responding.

I noticed several other people came across same problem. Any solution is welcome.

    Best,
    Shuchun

I'm currently experiencing the same issue !
It hangs while installing gcc 64 bit Component.

Can't work anymore on my Linux Ubuntu...unbelievable !

Looks like it's the installer that screwed up everything...
I've tried with a previous version and it worked fine, try with this version:

        Cheers,

This is a known issue for machines that only have one (virtual) CPU (QTBUG-105705). Increasing the number of CPU's should fix it.

@kkoehne Thank you so much. That works. Also, another solution is to use an earlier version.
