Ah... it seems like yesterday I attended Devdays and another one :), well I think it is too early to ask about the date of next year, they have yet not uploaded the whole document/video of this year dev days so atleast i can not think of next year dates as of now.
And how is the venue decided. I think it should change every year.
Why should the venue change every year? From what I understand, there was new venue this year only because last years' venue was getting too small for the event. If the current venue is OK, why move?

The DevDays 1 - 6 were at the same Hotel. DevDays 7 was moved, as the Hilton Munich Park was too small, and they said this year, they have place for extension... I don't think they will move. And I also think, the location will be fixed early, as they have to book it and it will not be possible to short before the event.

We don't have the date yet, but when we do you will hear it in the Trolltalk newsletter, on twitter, the Facebook group, on LinkedIn, on Xing - in short we will do our best to inform the planet as a whole.

          Some ways to stay informed:

          Newsletter: http://qt.nokia.com/forms/downloading/newsletter
          Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/qtbynokia
          Twitter: http://twitter.com/qtbynokia

And to properly stalk our every move you could add this stream to your RSS reader :)

Well the current venue might be very good. But if every year its kept at some different country then it would help spread the community. This way atleast I can hope one day it will come to a place nearby and I can attend. I am sure lot of others may be sharing this view.

Wait a sec, this is not confirmed. I recommend to wait for us to come with dates before you block anything in your calendars.

Of course there is no official announcement - but better block and release than the other way round ;-)

I blocked date might become free, but if there is something else, it gets complicated... so I also blocked it :-)

Fine. I just wanted to make sure nobody runs and books flights while they're cheap. :P

                                October 24-26!

Mark it down in your calendars!

It is great that the dates have been announced. I've never attended Qt Dev Days and I am wondering is it worth to attend?

I know it is too early but is there agenda available? I am particullary interested in mobile development for MeeGo and the Qt port to Android.

I found it well worth attending, though I personally liked the '09 edition better than the '10 edition. A program is not available yet. Just save the dates for now, and see if you like the program when it becomes available before you decide to register.
