    Hi,

I am using Qt Installer Framework to create an installer. My total package size is around 2GB. binarycreator command takes around one hour to build the installer. Is this normal? Is there a way to speedup the process?

    Thanks

I know nothing about this, but while you are waiting for a better answer....

Are you using a 32- or 64-bit machine and installer-creator? Do you have plenty of spare memory. I'm wondering whether 2GB on 32-bit might be struggling. Is it writing to SSD or disk?

If you use the -v option to binarycreator can you see where it is taking time? If you also pass --compression 0 to test does that make much difference?

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using windows prebuilt binaries. They are 32bit (says x86 in the name). My computer is Windows 10 64bit. I have an SSD. I will try compression 0 switch
