Repeatedly asks for access to folder on Mac Monterey

I assume you mean Qt Creator. What Qt Creator version have you installed? What version of Qt libraries appears in Qt Creator's about box (i.e. the libraries it uses to run itself)?
Qt library versions before 6.2 do not claim Mac OS 12 support. Judging from the Monterey-related bugs there are probably a few quirks in 6.2 as well.
