    Hi,
I need a translated version of the text that comes with QMessageBox::aboutQt().

The English version is easily copyable from QMessageBox' source code, but I didn't find any translation files for it. Of course I could translate it myself (at least into my mother tongue) and it would probably end up not that bad, but with legal matters I'd like to get the wording correct.

Any ideas where to get the translation files? Or a usable "aboutQt" text in different languages?

@SeDi Use some qtbase_xx.ts from https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qttranslations.git/tree/translations , change the .xx for the locale you want to translate to, change the .ts using QtLinguist, generate the .qm and paste it in the translations folder of your Qt installation. If it is a new language, also copy some qt_xx.ts, make the necessary changes, generate the .qm and copy it to the Qt translations folder. Thank you very much, @eyllanesc ! That did solve my case on the spot. Interestingly in a direction, I wouldn't have thought.
        The file qtbase_de.ts states clearly:

<extracomment>Leave this text untranslated or include a verbatim copy of it below and note that it is the authoritative version in case of doubt.</extracomment>

So I will just do as proposed and not translate it.
