Solved Random Number Generator not seeded, Disabling SSL support
-
hello
The program outputs "Random Number Generator not seeded, Disabling SSL support" when running in debug mode, what does that mean? -
What program? What classes are you using?
Seeding is important to make sure that a RNG doesn't prodoce the same, pseudo random numbers.
-
My WAG would be that the SSL implementation cannot find a cryptographically secure RNG installed on the system. No mention of it being windoze or Linux. I know the common Linux kernels maintain a "system noise" entropy pool to be used in seeding the RNG.
