Further tools
-
Is there any overview about tools from other contributers? I know about qwt and frologics Gui-Tester, for example. Are there more tools out there?
Update: Just recognise that there is a page in the wiki, Tools Overview. But is this really all. Formerly I develop some time with delphi and there is huge amount of tools available.

Hi stuk,
seems interesting.
Found in the meanwhile KDAB, which sold also a report-tool. However, the pricing is pretty high compared with the whole Qt-Framework in it's commercial version. -
OMG! The price is very high! I use ncreport, and the support (for user register and not) is very valid!

Actually I meant KD Report (700€), without GUI designer.
-
NcReport is 399€ and before you buy it, you can download the 'demo'.
The 'demo' is the final version that you buy only limit is a little word in a report preview (but you can deploy without buy license).
Actually I meant KD Report (700€), without GUI designer.
If we are talking about reports, there is a good lgpl'ed tool eXaro.
-
When i have to do a program that integrate a report i search on the web the possible solution.
I have found 3 solution: eXaro,ncReport and a crystal report.
Crystal report is to big (and maybe to expensive) for my solution.
I try eXaro but i have a lot of problem, so at the end i select NCReport.A possibile 'search engine tools' can be "qt-app":http://qt-apps.org/

stuk, we are using eXaro and it fits our needs. Of course, sometimes eXaro code should be fixed, but it is well-readable code.
-
When i look eXaro, it have some issue and maybe now that issue is clear.
In that period i have need a stable product and eXaro make me work very hard.
Ncreport have its issue but i develop my work in very low time without the crash of eXaro.
If you said that i re-view eXaro for the next report project :)
stuk, we are using eXaro and it fits our needs. Of course, sometimes eXaro code should be fixed, but it is well-readable code.
stuk, we are using eXaro for mobile development (there are some our commits for better work in mobile environment) and have not found any crashes. But reports is only a small and not so important feature of our project (we just use it for some formatted output of info from database in a couple of places).
-
Mobile development you mean Symbian?

stuk, mostly Android, but Symbian too (and also Maemo and WinMo)
-
I've got a few to add - I'll put them up on the wiki page.
-
thanx so far your replys. But I'm not only interested in reporting tools.
@stuk
qt-app is nice but many projects are GPL based and/or dead.
I'm looking for tools/add-ons for commercial use, mainly. And one aspect is some reliabilty in the development of this tools.
Some tools I found so far I add to the wiki page. Well, it inspired other to follow my idea. :-) -
Ok, i don't understand you search add-ons for commercial application.
