QT Features Page working correctly?
-
I am an absolute beginner and wanted to find out if qt meets my requirements for a very small project which I would like to develop under LGPL.
To get more information on which modules are available under LGPL qt.io routes me to
https://www.qt.io/product/features#js-6-4.However, any change in any filter field resets any other field. It is not possible to use two filter settings.
For instance, if you filter for "QT Design Tools" and target platform "Linux", then filter is set back to "QT Application Development".I am trying to set the filters to "LGPL" and target platform "Windows".
Is this just an untested web development or am I using the website wrongly?

Hi @GunnarB, and welcome! It looks like you've found a bug in the website (you didn't do anything wrong).
In the meantime, have a look at this page: https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtmodules.html It lists all the modules available in Qt 5. Most are available under LGPL except the ones listed near the bottom under "Add-ons available under Commercial Licenses, or GNU General Public License v3"

@AndyS, could you please notify the folks in charge of the website regarding the broken filter?
I will pass on the feedback, but I think that it is supposed to work in this manner even though it is not really clear. It is designed so that you just change one aspect to see what is available under that one specific criteria.

That would be quite an... interesting... design decision

Fair point. I was just making assumptions :) But I have passed it on to them anyway
