Hi xsacha,
I can but apologize - you'll win next week for sure.

Ah, and look at blix's Wiki trees ;)
I don't think so. If you guys win a prize for abusing the forums, I'll probably quit these forums and stick to the mailing list.

Sorry but You are relay spamming hard. And am I getting it wrong or are the new users excluded from winning the C7, not that I have something against You getting one for Your spam (All new users – new as in registered since Dec 1st – will get an extra chance and enter another high score battle: the newbie league).

Me, Grimlock, not "nice dino". ME BASH BRAINS!

kkrzewniak, you are wrong about c7 and newbies. Alexandra explained it here http://developer.qt.nokia.com/blog/view/project_elf#258

And now Tam has entered the hall of fame. About 24 hours after creating his account :)

            OK. That makes sense
and QNetworkAccessManager. I just wanted to code in peace...
That doesn't. Blame QNetworkAccessManager because it let you connect to the internet and distracted you from coding in peace?

Have you finished your newsradar yet? Have we helped you get it working? :)

I have one of these devices (the 5800 Xpress Music) and could help test performance issues.
I've got the C6 custom firmware on it so everything seems really fast (even complex QML apps).

You could make a topic about your NewsRadar and we could help you work out the bugs. Are you able to provide source? :)

                Oh I don't have a C6, I mean C6 firmware on the 5800.

                Yes, it can use QFtp.

Did you want a new topic?

Well you want to get Mad Scientist don't you? Thought you'd have ten threads by now.

For what it's worth, the applications I make seem to work on other people's 5800s too. I really don't think it's the firmware.

Have you tried installing a pre-built app with networking?

Oh and I guess that app didn't work? By the way, use: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/2161/#11253
As it is the more relevant thread.

Do you mind opening a separate thread for the actual problem? Not really a Robot Herder issue anymore, isn't it? :-)

I keep trying to move away from these topics but tam keeps "derailing":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1525/P15/#11430 them.
