How to add a widget in UI design under the mac os?

Hi all, sorry for my question sound silly, but it really confused me right now. I do not know why I cannot add the widget by drag them from the widget bar to the main window. Is it a bug,? or I have to press some specific key when I darg them?

I used qt creator under the windows, and I always add the widget by drag widgets from the left widget bar to main window.

Today I download the qt creator to my mac, and created a empty project such that, File > New File or Project > Application QT > QT widget application>choose. I notice that I cannot darg the widget from the widget bar.

I know I can add the widget by using code, but I will lose a lot convenience if I cannot drag the widget.

Hi, this is a bug in that particular release of Qt Creator. Potential solution until this is fixed for online installer is here: https://forum.qt.io/topic/119537/qt-creator-rollback
