Unsolved Just installed 5.15.1
-
Hi, I just installed Qt 5.15.1 using the online installer, tested it and it seems to be working fine. But there's no announcement yet, am I too early?

Hi
Slightly as https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_5.15_Release
has nothing in "realized" yet :) -
Hmm, please tell me I'm wrong, but isn't there a new Qt release policy, that opensource users won't get any updates, so this 5.15.1 update is released "quietly"....

@hskoglund
I heard that too but seems not yet :) -

No, that wills tart with 5.15.3. So LGPL Qt will get 5.15.1 and 5.15.2.
But yea, it's weird - it's available but there was no release mail on mailing list and no blog post.

Trying to disperse the crowd from downloading all at the same time possibly.

Could be, especially on Windows where the installer is barely working since a few weeks.
Or some late blocker bug has been discovered and a patch is coming or something.

Open source users will still get updates to Qt 5.15 until the release of Qt 6.
