So, from the video and other stuff online, here's what we know:
Hardware:
- 12MP camera
- Camera is autofocus not EDoF
- No Camera "bump" like the n9
- Physical keyboard (chicklet)
- Follows a similar design to the n9 and e7
- Earlier leaked pics look pretty similar [1]
- Lots and lots of bands [2]
Software:
- confirmed to be MeeGo
- similar style to Symbian Anna
- Status bar and multitasking look a bit different

Looks interesting, but what it will be in reality? And yep, I'm agreed with Alexander, it's a bit late I think...

There's just one thing that bothers me... The song, it's about a girl and girl names are the new way of specifying symbian releases.

I have seen almost the same design for MeeGo prototype N950. Is it the same?
I guess it will be using intel cpu, but is there any info about the model?

Yes it is late but let's wait to see how the market will react. - Follows a similar design to the n9 and e7

Oh, come on. Android is for geeks too but it selling well. No one has to be a rocket scientist to make calls and send text messages :) If the marketing of the device is good it can become a hit :)
Check 0:43 of the video. Although I have not seem Symbian Anna this menu does not seems to be Symbian style. Of course it might be part of a Qt application but in my opinion it is more likely to MeeGo :)

I'm not sure if I'll be able to justify buying this phone to myself when it comes out.
It looks like nice hardware, and I'd love to have some actual MeeGo hardware to play with. The problem is I can't really see how this isn't going to end up like the n900 - a "community" device.
I'm also guessing it'll be priced similarly to the n8/e7 which are really expensive compared to other handsets.
Though compared to normal way how Symbian works, I think N900 has so far worked and developed itself far better...

leon: I totally agree, how can people already have statements about things like "it's only for geeks, not normal users" when they haven't yet seen the phone.
And the part about being too late... It might only be too late due to MS involvement in Nokia else I think they will have a good product. If this device is too late then MS shouldn't bother at all :)
kidproquo: MeeGo is definitely not limit to Nokia devices only. Intel is working full steam ahead. If you want MeeGo-devices, you have to buy them and show the market that there is a need.

@mario, I know MeeGo isn't just Nokia - I am trying to get it running on a "pandaboard":http://pandaboard.org/ at the moment in fact. The thing is, if the rumours are true, then this isn't a "pure" MeeGo phone, but the half-way Harmattan platform.
I would love to be able to grab one (assuming it is actually as nice as it looks). But as a student I'm just not sure I can justify the extra cost of buying this over, say, a Nexus S if I'm not sure of the future.

kidproquo: I see your point but you will change phone after 2-3 years anyway so why bother about the future :)
