Irazo: I guess you are happy to hear that the "devdays are in Munich and San Francisco":http://qt.nokia.com/qtdevdays2010 this year:-)
Tobias Hunger: I ask you not to misunderstand the meaning of my words, I just understand the feelings of the colleagues that expressed here their desire to have an event near of them. Because when I was in Mexico I always wanted an event of this kind will take place there, but it never did. They're was always in a place in U.S. or Europe. However, for me is OK that this event will be, like almost always, in a place of U.S. and Europe. As we used to say in Mexico "If the mountain does not go to Muhammad, Muhammad go to the mountain". :-) -
Irazo: Sorry, I did misread your post:-(
-
Tobias Hunger: Don't worry :-) is only a comment! Have a good day my friend!
-
It's gonna be a Qt Code Camp in Istanbul (Turkey). If you wanna join, just drop me a line :)
-
Brazil! :-)
While it does not happen, the Brazilian KDE community continues organizing Qt community meetings, talks in several events and mini courses. If any Brazilian read it here and want to participate, don't hesitate to contact us in #kde-brasil @ freenode.

+1 for dev days in Brazil... ;)

Yes As.sri me too will vote for India too,I see Qt is getting more and more popular there specially with Nokia Brand Loyalty it will grow even faster than other place (my guess)
-
I also vote for community meetings, which is much easeier to set up with the groups now. And I think there are always some students, so maybe universities could provide the place in some cases I think.
I was at the Nokia Developer Workshop Budapest in May, which was great, and I'm looking forward to simalar events and maybe a seperet code camp or something like that. The power of a community could be great :)

Best thing that can be done is to organize regional meetings. For example I live in Balkans, and it would be great to do a regional meeting which would include Qt developers from all Balkan regions to attend in one place that is easy reachable by everyone. I am thinking on doing so :)
