How do I know the exact platforms that the release package support?

For example, I want to download the latest qt release package that support VS2015 X86.
I downloaded the qt-opensource-windows-x86-5.12.7.exe and it took me long time. But when I installed, I found that it only support VS2015 x64.
So if there is a way to know the exact platforms that the release package support before download? Thanks.

Use the online installer. You can probably get some info from Release wiki, too. Look into Tools and Versions subpage.
