      Hi,

so I see no background in C++? Then you should read a bit on C++ and the read the tutorials on the "docs":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7/tutorials.html

You can use the tag search for some forum threads and wiki pages on this topic:

          http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/getting~started
          http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/learning

You will find a list of C++ books ant the like there.

Hi and welcome. I wrote a very basic "introductory tutorial":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Basic_Qt_Programming_Tutorial on the wiki last week. It might be of some interest to you.
