I'm using Qt Creator 4.10 on Windows to develop our internal libraries. I am also using conan package manager to include these libraries in our software projects. The problem comes up when debugging an application following a debug stack trace inside of an internal library will get me either the package managers files or the local development branch files with the same name. When I then navigate between files as I am working I will end up making changes to header files in my conan directory mistaking them for the local copy of the file. Is there a way to lock the conan directory to Qt Creator so that I can not save changes to these files.

Hi and welcome to the forums.
As far as i know, you can only do it reversed.
Make the folder/files ReadOnly in the Os and then Creator
will warn you if you try to edit.
