Is there an examples-manifest.xml for Qt Quick and Qt Quick2?

You mean an example AndroidManifest.xml file or something else?

If Android, then just create a project in Qt Creator, go to Project -> Build and select "Create templates", QtC will automatically add an example AndroidManifest.xml file to your project.
