Since i updated my installation to Qt 5.12.1 (from 5.9.6) no MouseReleaseEvent (and because of that no Button Click Event) is triggered anymore when using a Trackpad with Click on Tap Function activated (see Screenshot ).
    With Qt 5.9.6 this wasn't a problem.

When i do a "hard" Click (press the button on the trackpad) or use a normal mouse everything works fine.

This behaviour is only with the QPushButton. On a QLabel i get the MouseRelease Event.

Is there any new option to translate the tap click into a real mouse click i have missed during the update ?

Sounds like a bug/ regression. Have you checked / added a bug in Qt bug tracker? http://bugreports.qt.io
