I was using Code Blocks with MinGW installed and it worked fine. the after learning C++ in console I decided to look forward to GUI development and installed you Qt (Windows 8.1). But then it did'nt build any program and give compiler error and Make error. i also specified compiler in Build option but no luck it keep on giving errors as shown in screen shots below. kindly help.

Hi, looks like you're missing the Visual Studio compiler, download it for free "here":http://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/news/vs2013-community-vs.aspx

        Thanks for replying.
I have MinGW installed. Do I need to install the whole Visual Studio too in order to run Qt?

No MinGW works fine with Qt, but then you have to download the correct flavor of Qt for it, it seems you've downloaded the offline installer for Visual Studio (VS2013). You can try another download.

Yes Sir! I downloaded "Qt 5.4.0 for Windows 64-bit (VS 2013, 720 MB)"
So now I think I should download "Qt 5.4.0 for Windows 32-bit (MinGW 4.9.1, 852 MB)".
            Am I right Sir?
