                    He meant a calendar where tasks/meeting is scheduled like in outlook.

                      One way is to subclass QCalendarWidget
                      and override
                      http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qcalendarwidget.html#paintCell
                      to make it look how you want.
                      You must also catch the click event and handle setting Task data via dialog.

                          QCalendarWidget has a lot of stuff buried in the private implementation, you are probably better off just using custom model+QSortFilterProxyModel+QTableView+custom delegate
