      IIRC, there was a long time bug in nodebb where users could only set their own answers as the correct answer.

        From what I saw in their bug tracker, all bugs are long-time bugs ...

            Yeah, we don't have the latest version of the plugin, but apparently the issue hasn't been resolved after the release of the installed version. The relevant bug: https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-plugin-question-and-answer/issues/18
