To develop application that is using Image sprites in layers what is recommended today in Qt 5.3

Hello all
i last time i used Qt it was version 4.5 , allot changed i see .
to day i need to develop application that has Main window and that i can load into this main window images
that can be ordered in some kind of index from 0 .. n
like simple image editor .
the images also can be moved around .
which is the best module in Qt 5.3 that i should test / use / check ?
