It seems that it should be straightforward to use a QTPropertyBrowser to display a widget for editing the QPROPERTY's of a QObject with minimal coding. Maybe I am missing something obvious..

QTEntity (https://github.com/martinscheffler/qtentity) seems to implement this, but it's more than I need.
