No application window on Fedora

    When I start my Qt application on Fedora I get no application window, I'm using QML for the scenes but I get no QML (or any kinds of) errors. The build was done on an Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bit) machine, I've so far tried it on a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 and Mint 18.3 and both have worked without any issues. My app creates a tray icon too but that doesn't appear either.

    I'm using Qt 5.9.1 and the Fedora having issues is version 27. For copying together the required packages I'm using linuxdeployqt.

    Has anyone experienced any issues like this? It's kinda hard to debug without any error messages.

      It looks like Fedora uses Wayland by default, logging out and changing the env to "Gnome on Xorg" fixed the issue, gonna look into how to deploy QtWayland too.

        Did you verify that openGL is updated etc ?
        Myabe run some openGL test app.
