I would like to ask you if it is possible to customize the sidebar in a QFileDialog. My problem is that I want to display in the sidebar two paths like below:
    /tmp/area1/data
    /tmp/area2/data

By adding these two paths in QFileDialog.setSidebarUrls(paths)

the displayed links in the sidebar are the same - "data" and "data"- which is not so nice
(by default in sidebar of QFileDialog the last name of the path is displayed).

I am wondering if there is any way to rename the displayed named in the sidebar??

I also think that having the ability to specify the sidebars display name would be very helpful.

          Hi @styson

you can comment and/or vote on https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-792 for that. However, the bug is open for a long time and there has not been that much interest in so far.

          Regards

Qt has to stay free or it will die.
