Handling Layouts like in Qt Designer

Hi,

I am working on an designer where I can put different custom widget with custom properties and functionality, All of which is configurable by the user, I would like to add a feature to handle layouts, the same way Qt designer does like

1. Specifying a layout for a container (QWidget)
2. Highlighting the position where we can drop the widget in a layout. (dark blue line in Qt Designer form)
3. Component positioning and resizing.

Any help is highly appreciated,
