Hello
I need to create a File System Model that will show me as icons ( Refer Large Icons / Small Icons view - Windows 7 ) to show me content of file (image files). Please provide me a pointer on how to proceed.

The Dir View Example uses the QFileSystemModel class (at leas in Qt5.3).
With a QListView you have a listview and an iconview, the sizes you can set with setIconSize(const QSize & size).

For the thumnail-part you could get a list of supported images, create thumbnails which you can add to a QPixmapCache and draw them with a delegate.
