Qt installer framework - detect installed software

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether its possible to detect already installed software with the QT installer framework component scripts.
I need to install vcredist (Visual Studio Redistributable) along with my software but would like to check whether it's already installed. Is there a way to do this?

Also i have another driver i need to install, with a 32bit and a 64bit version. From what i read it is not possible to detect whether the system is running on 32 or 64 bit, right?
