"Tray-like" widgets

Hi. If you remember old versions of Quicktime Player, it had something like a tray you could drag when clicking on the kind of "=" symbol on the GUI. This is the picture:

Is there a way to make something similar to this on Qt?

Sure, should be possible with either widgets or QtQuick. Easier with the latter if you want to animate it.
