    Hello,

I'm running Qt Creator 4.5.0 ubuntu GNOME 16.04 and some time ago something happened and now snippet completion stopped working.

    How it previously looked:
    alt text

How it now looks (constructor name doesn't change):
    alt text

I have tried deleting QtCreator settings and removing, reinstalling QtCreator that didn't help.

      Hello @Eligijus,

I tried the same and it looks it didn't work for me also.

Then I went to Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> Snippets,
choose C++ and the class template. I edited it a bit and saved, and afterwards it seems to work. Maybe you can try also...

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

          Hi @Eligijus,

it worked instantly on my Windows system.

So maybe you should report it as bug on bugreports.qt.io

          Thanks
