Unsolved TableView replacement in Qt Quick 2?
-
What are people using in Qt Quick 2 for a TableView?
I need to display multi-column, multi-row data with a header on each column. Is using a GridView the best way forward, or is there another option?
-
The TableView component seems to be what you're looking for.

This has been asked before. @sierdzio 's suggestion is the control from
Qt QuickQtQuick.Controls 1, which still apparently works in 2. -

Incorrect. TableView comes from QtQuick.Controls 1.x, not QtQuick 1. It was not present at all in QtQuick 1.
But yes, it is possible to mix QtQuick.Controls 1 and 2 so it should work regardless of which system OP uses.

Sorry I did mean "QtQuick.Controls" rather than "QtQuick". It was the version difference I was trying to point out. I'll correct my post.... -
I've had problems mixing QtQuickControls 1 with 2.x controls. I think the problems centered around different implementations of the same class had different properties in the two versions. Is mixing the two standard process?
If so, I'll have another go.I also remember reading that 2.0 was created to deal with highDPI issues. Will I have problems on highDPI screens with a TableView?

Quite possibly yes.
A new TableView is in the works, as far as I know, but not ready yet.
